Ardavan Amir-Aslani
Ardavan is one of the principle partners of Cohen Amir-Aslani, an international corporate law firm with approximately 30 lawyers, where he heads the international law and governmental advisory departments.
In addition, he has written numerous articles on business law, in particular international corporate law. He is regularly invited to speak at conferences on public and private international law, and has co-edited and participated in the writing of a series of books on international debt recovery ("Debt Recovery in Europe," published by Helbing Lichtenhahn Verlag).
Ardavan Amir-Aslani is also an author and specialist of the Geopolitics of the Middle East. He is the author of more than a dozen books on international relations. He is passionate about comparative theology and religious issues in general. He is regularly consulted by French and foreign think tanks, as well as by military commissions, on subjects related to the political and geostrategic stakes of the Middle East. He is a Colonel in the French army (reserve RC) Gendarmerie and an honorary Hussar in the First Regiment of Parachute Hussars. He is also one of the few French lawyers authorized to appear before the International Criminal Court.
He was the founder of the Association des Orientalistes de France (Association of French Orientalists) and former President of the France-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce. Ardavan Amir-Aslani teaches "Geopolitics of the Middle East " at the School of Economic Warfare.
