Scholarship and Grants

The Foundation is delighted to offer scholarships and grants to the institutions listed below, with an aim to support students in the pursuit of their studies.

Association Amicale des Hussards Parachutistes de Bercheny

 

The Association Amicale des Hussards Parachutistes de Bercheny (Friendship Society of the Hussars of Bercheny) aims to celebrate the traditions, reputation and know-how of the First Parachutist Regiment. The association organises various activities of a cultural or mutual aid nature, and is involved in the publication of newsletters and brochures, the awarding of prizes and awards, the organisation of lotteries and exhibitions, the organisation of cultural events and the support of innovation projects within the regiment.

The Minou Amir-Aslani Foundation supports the association in order to help those and the loved ones of those belonging to the big Bercheny Hussars family, who were wounded or killed during their service for France.

Ecole Normale de Musique

 

The Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris (Music School of Paris) is a higher music institution that welcomes 800 students of approximately 50 different nationalities each year. The School aims to train all-rounded musicians, preparing students for the specificities and requirements of a career as a musician.

Since 2016, the Minou Amir-Aslani Prize has awarded a scholarship each year to two international students.

Fondation Napoléon

 

The Fondation Napoléon (Napoleon Foundation) is a French foundation whose mission is to share knowledge of the history of the First and Second Empires, and to contribute to the preservation of Napoleonic heritage.

Each year, the Fondation Napoléon awards six scholarships to postgraduate students preparing a thesis on subjects relating to the First or Second Empire.

Since 2012, one of the six Fondation Napoléon scholarships is named after Minou Amir-Aslani.

Fondation pour le Rayonnement de l’Opéra National de Paris

 

The Fondation pour le Rayonnement de l'Opéra National de Paris (Foundation for the Radiance of the Paris Opera) assures the promotion and development of the institution comprising of the Bastille Opera House and the Palais Garnier, mainly by supporting educational programmes and the preservation of the tangible and intangible heritage of the Paris Opera Houses.

Each year, the Fondation pour le Rayonnement de l'Opéra national de Paris (FRONP) awards the Paris Opera Young Ballet Hopefuls Awards to the dancers who achieves first place in the internal competition for entry into the Paris Opera Corps de Ballet.

The Minou Amir-Aslani Foundation supports the Paris Opera Young Ballet Hopefuls Awards by providing an annual grant.

Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris


Fondée en 1817, l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris est à la fois un lieu de formation et d’expérimentations artistiques, d’expositions et de conservation de collections historiques et contemporaines ainsi qu’une maison d’édition. Placée sous la tutelle du ministère de la Culture, elle a pour vocation première de former des artistes de haut niveau.

À travers ses différentes actions, l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris a notamment pour objectif de lutter contre l’exclusion en développant une mission de transmission et d’éducation artistique et culturelle à destination des publics jeunes.

La Fondation Minou Amir-Aslani soutient ainsi l’Ecole en participant à de nombreux projets dédiés à l’accueil de jeunes, notamment fragilisés, aux Beaux-Arts de Paris.

Grande Chancellerie de la Légion d’honneur

 

The Grand Chancellery of the Legion of Honour is responsible for the distribution of national decorations, first and foremostly the Legion of Honour. It is also responsible for the direction and management of two public educational establishments, the Legion of Honour’s educational institutions and the Museum of the Legion of Honour and the Orders of Chivalry.

The educational institutions of the Legion of Honour aim to educate young girls who are well adjusted to today’s society, and to prepare them for their future whilst also respecting the morals and values of the institution.

Ordre de la Libération

 

The Order of the Liberation is a French order, created by General de Gaulle in 1940 and intended "to reward persons or military and civilian communities who have distinguished themselves through their effort in liberating France and its Empire" during the Second World War.

The Order of the Liberation is responsible for the maintenance of the French Resistance medal. As such, it ensures the implementation of all measures necessary to preserve the memory of the French Resistance medallists (more than 65,000 individuals, 22 military units, 18 local authorities and 15 civil authorities) and to provide intellectual and material support.

The Minou Amir-Aslani Foundation provides an annual grant to the Order of the Liberation, in order to finance the creation of a research post.
