History

The Minou Amir-Aslani Foundation – Institut de France was created in February 2019. Born out of Ardavan Amir-Aslani's desire to honour the memory of his late mother, Minou Amir-Aslani, it supports the causes that were dear to her.

A piano prodigy, a devout admirer of the essential values of higher education, a lover of Napoleonic history and particularly insightful about the world, she was an exceptional woman.

The Minou Amir-Aslani Foundation is committed to French institutions that have been working nationally for several decades, with actions for the support of young people and the promotion of knowledge sharing.

Born on the 18th of January 1935 in Tehran and passed away in Paris on the 13th of September 2010, Minou Amir-Aslani never ceased to advocate for open-mindedness and access to education throughout her lifetime.

She was dedicated to supporting the teaching of her passions: Music, Arts, History and Literature.
